Aerobatic pilots, wing walkers and war birds will provide big-time air show action over the Apple Valley Airport skies on Saturday, Oct. 12.
This year’s air show will feature several aerobatic acts, including John Collver in “Wardog” the T-6, “Dr. D” Old Time Aerobatics in his Taylorcraft, Rob Harrison “The Tumbling Bear” in his Zlin, wing walkers Margie Stivers and Marion Wagner in a Stearman biplane and Tim Just flying the Extra.
Also on hand, such favorites as Rich Piccirilli with Just In Time Skydivers, radio control airplanes, the N-9M Flying Wing and the F4U Corsair, P-38 Lightning, B-25 Mitchell, P-51 Mustang, P-40 Warhawk and Fw190 war birds, all from the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino.
In addition to the excitement in the sky, spectators will see experimental and vintage airplane static displays and, new this year, a car show. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the pilots, get autographs
